This one is a perfect balance of flavor and body for my taste. I've been drinking espresso for as long as I can remember. I did not want to spend $200 on a decent grinder, so I buy espresso grind bricks. I assume your results will be the same (provided you have decent machine).
The crema is excellent. In fact, it works even better with a non-pressurized portafilter, as with the pressurized one the crema is a bit too foamy and too much. This grind works great with my espresso machine (delonghi, pressurized portafilter). It's perfect for an espresso, or just with a little bit of milk.
This coffee is my favorite at the moment. It's on the weak side to be mixed with lots of milk. I've tried number of brands and flavors, so far this is my favorite. However, this is not your best bet for a cappuccino or a latte.
I've tried Illy few times, I love the flavor, but the body isn't there (and I've tried the dark roast). I've tried the pods, and while I can get the same results every time, it is expensive. I find the Starbucks one too acid and sometimes burnt.
It's great. This is a very delicious espresso for your espresso machine. It is also sure to wake you up.
